Exploratory Kayaking Detian Falls
On May 6th, 2009, Travis Winn and I went to Detian Falls on the border of Viet Nam and China. We were hoping for ‘good’ but we found ‘abso-#$@!-ing-lutely awesome’.
About a year prior, after doing an exploratory run on the upper Mekong river in Tibet, I had found a photo of these falls online and became obsessed about going there with boats.
