1stD(escent) of The NuJiang, Tibet

a collection of photos that loosely tell the tale of our March 2007 expedition of the NuJiang in eastern tibet.

As an architect, i was very excited to see the builing of a new home. It is a rammed eath shell with stout rough hewn lintels then ornately carved window frames that are inset. the roof is made of round logs and flat slate piled with rocks and dirt. great view. ........ 1/160 sec at f / 16 27 mm ISO 200
